Job summary

Job description

Are you an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills? If so, our open Manufacturing Technician role might be a great fit for you!

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll assist with setting up equipment, troubleshooting problems, interpreting technical drawings, and verifying product quality throughout the production process.

Who we're looking for: JBC is looking for someone with 5 years of equipment operation and setup experience to join our production team. An associate's degree in engineering technology, CAD, or manufacturing technology is a plus, as is rotary die-cutting experience, but not required.

This position is for our North Ridgeville, Ohio corporate headquarters (7887 Bliss Pkwy, North Ridgeville, OH 44039), located just a short drive from Elyria, Avon, Lorain, Strongsville, and North Olmsted.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes are required. JBC currently reimburses up to $100 for PPE acquisition. Protective equipment is available for nuisance dust.

Work Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 5.15 pm - 3.45 am, Monday - Thursday
• Overtime may be required based on business need

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks during a 10-hour shift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, dust, noise, fiberglass, and industrial materials
