Job Summary

To coordinate tasks with other manufacturing staff to fulfill customer boxbuild requirements while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications. Diagnoses problems, interprets drawings and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Works under general supervision.
2. Errors can cause moderate delay, expense, and disruption.
3. Assembles finished units per customer specifications. Coordinates with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
4. Utilizes manual and automated lifting devices while adhering to product safety specifications. Provides information and coordinates action plans at cross-functional meetings and communicates issues with team members and/or visitors to drive corrective actions.
5. Must be able to work overtime as required, respond to conflicting deadlines, changing priorities, and continuous interruptions.
6. Organizes and maintains spare parts inventory and orders spare parts as needed to fill customer orders.
7. Assists in area organization 5S attributes.
8. Keeps abreast of spare parts inventory locations for ease of order fulfillment.
9. Performs preventive maintenance on area tooling according to schedules, following procedural requirements to ensure audit compliance.
10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge Requirements

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer, including using Windows-based operating systems and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret graphs.
