Job summary

Commercial Tire Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Level 1 for its retread operations. You will operate machines, maintain quality, and support a safe, organized workspace in a hands-on production setting.

No tire experience is required as training begins day one. You’ll advance through levels with clear pay criteria as skills grow, while earning a competitive hourly wage and a production bonus after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable reading technical or operational manuals.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to learn — we invest in people who show up and put in the effort.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines — buffer, builder, extruder, chambers, skiver, and/or final inspector.
• Assist with retread manufacturing and maintain production quality to Commercial Tire specifications.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and keep your work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow Commercial Tire safety guidelines and contribute to a team-first culture of continuous improvement

POSITION OVERVIEW

You’ll work hands-on in our retread manufacturing operation — operating machinery, maintaining your workspace, and producing high-quality retreaded tires that keep commercial fleets on the road. No prior tire experience required; we train you on the equipment and processes from day one. As you build skills, you advance through a structured Level 1 → 2 → 3 pay ladder with clear criteria at each step.
