Job Description

About the role:

As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will implement all production processes following cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and applicable regulations. You will organize and lead production activities, participate in departmental projects, and support quality teams. Responsibilities include assisting with the movement of Flexbumin through inspection to packaging, acting as a line lead, and documenting activities in routers or the electronic batch management system (EBM). You will report to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.

How You Will Contribute

  • Maintain a safe and quality working environment
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams
  • Support manufacturing operations
  • Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks
  • Operate general production equipment (e.g., DAP lines, forklifts, hoists)
  • Move pallets within the value stream
  • Communicate cross-functionally with other departments
  • Manage supplies in the production area
  • Follow cGMP, safety, and other regulations
  • Complete paperwork per GDP/GMP guidelines
  • Perform daily cleaning of the production area
  • Train employees/contractors on procedures
  • Report safety, quality, compliance, and equipment issues

What You Bring To Takeda

  • High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience, or AA/higher with 1+ years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, following instructions)
  • Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing
  • Ability to meet deadlines during shifts

Important Considerations

  • May wear PPE and clean room garments, including safety shoes, glasses, gowns, hair nets, gloves, and hearing protection
  • Must remove makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial nails in manufacturing areas
  • Work in cold, wet environments and around chemicals requiring respiratory protection
  • May work multiple shifts, including weekends, and supplemental hours
