Job summary

FormFactor Inc. in Livermore, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 for a clean-room environment. You will operate and maintain production equipment, monitor processes, and support engineering with experiments and data collection.

Coaching junior technicians and ensuring safety are also part of the role. The position requires 1–2 years of related experience. Work hours are Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00am to 6:15pm, with a competitive hourly pay range of $22.10–$29.03.

Qualifications

• Production Operations in a clean-room environment following procedures and safety protocols.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Collect and evaluate data to support process optimization and stability.
• Collaborate with engineers on tests and experiments to improve yields and processes.
• Provide coaching and training to junior technicians to ensure consistency.
• Operate in a clean-room setting with gowning and contamination-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production activities within a clean-room environment.
• Use systems and software to track and document components through production.
• Set up and calibrate manufacturing equipment to meet specifications.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure uptime and performance.
• Collect data and perform online adjustments for process stability.
• Partner with engineers to conduct tests and experiments for yields improvement.
• Provide coaching to lower-level technicians and ensure safety and quality standards.
