1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm with Saturday OT approximately every other month

About the role:

With general supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of processes and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime
  • Utilize continuous improvement techniques to improve processes or equipment
  • Qualify new and existing tooling and fixtures
  • Perform preventative and on-demand maintenance routines
  • Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/equipment
  • Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and troubleshoot tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment
  • Assist in Value Improvement (VIP) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings
  • Work with departmental customers to communicate equipment status and downtime needs
  • Provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
