Job summary

Jobtailor in Warrendale, PA, seeks a skilled technician to troubleshoot and repair Ivenix devices returned by customers. You will perform analysis, testing, sorting, reworking, and failure evaluation of non-conforming parts, documenting investigations clearly.

You will monitor daily quality and productivity, operate mechanical and electrical test equipment, and coach others to maximize workflow while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • GED/High School diploma required.
  • Associate Degree in Electronics preferred.
  • 1–3 years’ experience, or minimum Associate degree in electronics or mechanical technology will provide equivalent years of experience.
  • Quality minded and excellent attention to detail.
  • Willing to work as a team player.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Able to take direction and work on service depot requirements as needed (after training).
  • Computer literate.
  • Willingness to work overtime, especially during emergency situations.
  • Frequently lifts and/or moves material and/or objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot customer-returned Ivenix devices to determine causes of non-conformances and required repairs
  • Perform technical analysis, testing, sorting, reworking, and failure evaluation of non-conforming parts
  • Document and summarize investigations clearly and concisely
  • Monitor daily quality and productivity and maintain required service depot throughput
  • Set up, debug, and operate mechanical and/or electrical test equipment
  • Teach and assist with troubleshooting to maximize workflow
  • Inspect and repair finished medical devices
  • Execute routine service depot operations
  • Maintain equipment and keep work areas safe and hazard free
  • Perform continuous improvement activities and contribute improvement ideas
  • Review and complete required service documentation
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, cross-training, and other assigned work activities
  • Comply with company procedures, policies, legal requirements, ethical standards, and Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems

Job description
