Job summary

Entegris in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for the RefurbHall team. You will perform high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly and troubleshooting of canisters and support process improvements to boost safety, quality and efficiency.

You'll work closely with Leadership, Engineering, Quality and the Safety team in a fast-paced environment, adhere to SOPs, and maintain rigorous PPE and ISO 9000/14000 expectations while meeting production goals and continuous

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; mechanical/technical experience is a plus.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 51 lbs and work under safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, assemble and troubleshoot containers in a hazardous chemical environment following SOPs.
• Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Quality and Safety teams to meet production goals.
• Identify process improvements to enhance safety, quality and efficiency.

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join our RefurbHall team. This position will be based in our Burnet facility.

In this role, youwill be responsiblefors role is high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly and troubleshooting of canisters as well asimprovement of manufacturing processes to drive safety, quality, and efficiency

WhatWeSeek

• High School Diploma or equivalentRequiredwith mechanical and/or technical experience in amanufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
• Safety and Quality are key in this role. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment which requires astute attention to detail.
• Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
• Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP and PLC experience is aplus).
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 51lbs daily.
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to attain respirator certification.
