Job summary

Entegris in Burnet, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the Refurb team. The role involves high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly and troubleshooting of canisters and helping improve manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Multiple shifts are available: 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2pm-11pm) or a 3-2-2-3 schedule on days or nights once trained. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 51 lbs. SAP/PLC experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift/move up to 51 lbs daily.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Experience in ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our Refurb team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly and troubleshooting of canisters as well as improvement of manufacturing processes to drive safety, quality, and efficiency.

We have multiple shifts and multiple levels available for this opportunity. The shift options for this position are 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 2pm-11pm), or a 3-2-2-3 schedule on days (6am-6pm) or nights (6pm-6am) once fully trained and certified.

• Utilize your mechanical skills and judicious safety focus to disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
• Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures as you seek opportunities to continually improve our work processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Quality and our Safety team to drive toward production goals that meet our customers' expectations.
• Demonstrate your high degree of accountability and integrity while achieving the best results possible.

What We Seek

• High School Diploma or GED required with mechanical and/or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
• Safety and Quality are key in this role. You will work in a fast‑paced, dynamic team environment which requires astute attention to detail.
• Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
• Dependability with flexibility to work over‑time and weekends to support business needs.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP and PLC experience is a plus).
• Desire to work in a fast‑paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 51lbs daily.
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to attain respirator certification.
