Job Summary:

The manufacturing technician is an integral part of the overall process required to convert human plasma to injectable protein therapies. The technician is responsible for the set-up, operation, and cleaning of various types of process equipment utilized to separate, purify, fill, inspect, and package the protein products manufactured by Grifols.

Responsibilities include:

1. Equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment for plasma-derived pharmaceuticals.
2. Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to FDA regulations.
3. Documentation compliance with FDA regulations.
4. Adherence to departmental safety policies.
5. Facility and equipment cleaning.
6. Performing tasks in a clean room environment, including cleaning/sanitizing processing areas, preparing sterilized components, and aseptic fills.
7. Potential training in the freeze drying (Lyophilization) process.
8. Utilizing touch screen Operator Interface Terminals (OIT).

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree, applicable certification, and/or military veteran status preferred.
• Proactive, results-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter with good judgment and work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills for team interaction.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Flexible with working hours/shifts to support 24/7 plant operations.

The estimated pay scale for this role in Los Angeles, CA, is $21.50-$22.00 per hour, with eligibility for up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(K) match, and tuition reimbursement. Final compensation depends on various factors including education, experience, and location.
