Job summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems in Bridgeton, MO is seeking multiple full-time Manufacturing Technician I to perform electro-mechanical and cable harness assembly, disassembly and rework, including some testing and repair of electronic and mechanical products.

You will read wiring diagrams, operation sheets and engineering specs, support engineers, and help prototype and production units while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience handling small delicate components with ESD practices.
• Safe handling of chemicals recommended.
• Good hand and eye coordination and dexterity.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand and bend for extended periods.
• Experience with soldering and wire bonding is a plus.
• Experience with reading wiring diagrams and engineering specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework.
• Test and repair electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
• Work from wiring and assembly drawings and specs.
• Provide technical support to engineers on components and processes.
• Read SOPs and safety rules and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interface with other departments to ensure flow of information and materials.
• Support design and test of prototype and production units.
