Job summary

Plexus Corp. in the United States is seeking a Higher Level Assembly Technician to assess, implement, and maintain manufacturing procedures for intricate assemblies.

You will contribute to the Focus Factory Team, driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements across Plexus's assembly operations. The role requires understanding of manufacturing processes, documentation and basic process optimization, with an Associate’s degree and 1+ year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1+ years related experience preferred; equivalent combination considered.

Responsibilities

• Executes manufacturing solutions that are high-quality and cost-appropriate to satisfy customer requirements; applies process improvement or troubleshooting as needed.
• Uses tools to create, analyze, and verify documentation, programs, models, processes or production.
• Demonstrates understanding of Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications as they apply to the role.
• Performs responsibilities under supervision in accordance with GMPs and Plexus Manufacturing Processes; supports direct production line operators.
• Has basic understanding of equipment/process control, safety, risk awareness, setup and operation.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Salary Range:

$45,300.00 - $67,900.00

Work Shift:

C Shift assists with covering operations on every other Wednesday and every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6am-6pm.

Purpose Statement:

The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Executes Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Basic Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
