Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking a Higher Level Assembly Technician to assess, implement, and maintain manufacturing procedures for complex assembly processes.

You will support the Focus Factory Team to drive efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus' assembly operations. Preferred candidates hold an Associate’s Degree with related experience and will work on the D Shift (6pm-6am) every other Tuesday night and Wed–Fri nights, with a 10% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing solutions and provide high-quality, cost-appropriate services that meet customer requirements.
• Use appropriate tools to create, analyze, and verify documentation, programs, models, and production processes.
• Support Plexus' full manufacturing processes and product specifications as applicable to the role.
• Provide on-the-floor support to direct production line operators and maintain GMP compliance.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Salary Range:

$45,300.00 - $67,900.00

Work Shift

This shift helps cover operations on our D Shift which works every other Tuesday night from 6pm-6am and every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night from 6pm-6am. The shift is eligible for a 10% shift differential.

Purpose Statement

The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus' assembly operations.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Executes Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Basic Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
