Summary:

The manufacturing Technician provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes to production to ensure products are assembled efficiently, meeting customer quality and expectations, and on-time delivery specifications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing products.
  2. Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators.
  3. Troubleshoots operator problems successfully, works with leadership on training and process improvements.
  4. Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leaders.
  5. Assists in testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes.
  6. Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
  7. Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for product debug areas.
  8. Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
  9. Complies with all company security policies and procedures.
  10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  11. Works on problems of limited scope, following standard practices and procedures, and building stable working relationships internally.
  12. Learns to use professional concepts and applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  13. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
Other information:
  • 0-3+ years of electronics experience; previous robotics experience preferred.
  • Effective multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills.

  • Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and WebEx.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required.
  • Benchmark considers this a safety-sensitive position.

Education:

2-year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience, as approved by executive management.

Location and Schedule:

Location: Winona, MN
Shift: 4th (preferably 2pm-10pm, Friday-Sunday)
Part Time

Compensation and Benefits:

Range: $19.21 to $28.81 USD, with comprehensive benefits including bonuses, 401(k), PTO, health, dental, and vision insurance.
