Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Technician to support manufacturing, production, material handling, and quality-related activities across multiple production areas. This role adheres to standard work practices and safety procedures to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output.

Technicians deliver Right. On Time. Every Time products to internal and external customers in alignment with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Set up and operate workstations including loading, trimming, and assembly tasks.
• Handle materials, load raw materials, stack products, and move items as needed.
• Monitor machine output, report issues, and assist with simple troubleshooting.
• Perform production tasks using hand and power tools.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure QC is performed at each work center and support continuous improvement.
