Job summary

Microchip Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support assembly, testing, and packaging operations for CSAC products in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years' cleanroom experience, and familiarity with MEMS or semiconductor assembly. Compensation includes base pay, RSUs, quarterly bonuses, day-one health benefits, retirement plans, and an ESPP program.

Job Description

Microchip Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support assembly, testing, and packaging operations for Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC) products in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and package precision miniature/micro electro mechanical components
• Operate and maintain cleanroom equipment
• Perform inspections and quality checks
• Support troubleshooting and process improvement efforts
• Follow cleanroom and safety procedures

Requirements / Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
• 3+ years of cleanroom manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with MEMS, microscope work, or semiconductor assembly is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Preferred Experience

• Wire bonding
• Datacon, MRSI, Tresky, or SMT pick-and-place equipment
• Vacuum soldering or hermetic sealing processes

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $22.50 - $35.00.* *Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
