Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a hands-on manufacturing specialist to support ramp-up activities and optimization of production processes. The role involves analyzing production data, performing set-up of equipment, and collaborating with Industrial Engineers to ensure compliant manufacturing operations.

Typical education is a High School Diploma with 3–5 years of related experience. The position emphasizes familiarity with ERP/HCM tools, MES, and a quality‑oriented, FDA‑regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with business tools such as E-mail and standard office software.
  • Experience with an ERP system or HCM/workflow platforms is desirable.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supports manufacturability and ramp-up of products and performs technical measures with Industrial Engineers.
  • Completes installations, ramp-ups, data gathering and analysis for production operations.
  • Oversees machine control systems usage and drafts manuscripts to support manufacturing requirements.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Supports manufacturability and ramp‑up of products, and performs technical measures to complete respective projects, in cooperation with Industrial Engineers.

Key Duties

Completes manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp‑ups; gathers, records, and analyzes production information; performs repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities; oversees use of machine control systems and their use in manufacturing equipment; completes estimates of requirements arising from process changes; resolves manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations; may develop and verify manuscripts for use with machine control systems to support manufacturing requirements.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Familiar with business tools such as E‑mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Preferred Skills
  • SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Understanding of Manufacturing processes
  • Working in FDA regulated environment
  • TIG Welding
Education and Experience

Typical Education: High School Degree.

Experience: 3‑5 years of related experience.

Compensation

Base pay range: $62,500 - $85,943. Factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications may affect starting pay.
