Job summary

SCHOTT North America is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs for mills and lathes in a precision manufacturing environment in Massachusetts.

You will select tooling, set speeds/feeds, develop setup documents, perform prove-outs, and work closely with engineering to improve manufacturability while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or machinist apprenticeship preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC machine operations.
  • Experience with GD&T, tooling, and machining principles.
  • Proven ability to optimize machining processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • US Person status may be required.

Responsibilities

Your Contribution

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
