Job summary

New Flyer Group is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop CNC programs and operate advanced CNC machines for precision bus components. You will write and optimize programs, set up machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure quality through inspections and documentation.

Ideal candidates have CNC programming experience, strong CAD/CAM skills (MasterCam preferred), and a solid understanding of machining processes. This role follows a 1st shift schedule and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in manufacturing.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (MasterCam preferred) and G-code programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Experience with CNC machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent mathematical capabilities and technical aptitude.
  • Capable of working effectively in a team and communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols in the workplace.

Position Summary

Play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process as a CNC Programmer. In this position, you will be tasked with developing CNC programs and operating advanced CNC machinery to create precision components for our innovative bus manufacturing processes. What You Will Do
