Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Temporary Manufacturing Technician in California for a six‑month assignment. You will support production and R&D activities, performing mechanical, QC and chemistry processes in a cleanroom environment and assisting with assembly and packaging of consumable components.

The role requires 1+ years in manufacturing, familiarity with batch records and ERP systems, and adherence to SOPs and safety protocols. Competitive compensation available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years hands-on manufacturing technician experience.
• Experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and enter data in batch records.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, QC and chemistry processes on consumable components in a cleanroom.
• Assemble, kit, label, and package consumable components and final products.
• Assist production and R&D teams in building consumables under engineer guidance.
• Adhere to production schedules to meet delivery targets.
• Follow work instructions and batch records.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, Kanban recharges, 5S.
• Follow SOPs and QC policies, including equipment upkeep and disposals.
• Support internal teams to run development experiments as needed.
• Lift up to 20 lbs for ~15% of a shift.
• Manual dexterity to grasp, pinch, turn and reach above shoulder height.
• Comply with PPE requirements.
