Job summary

Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) in Cerritos, CA is hiring for a production support role to assist in the fabrication and inspection of aluminum extrusions used in ceiling perimeter systems. You will work in a teamwork cell, inspect parts visually, and prepare pallets for shipping while following safety procedures.

The position requires standing all shift hours, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing set-up, measurement, and changeovers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to stand 8-10 hours per day
• LEAN manufacturing / Six Sigma preferred
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and lay out fabrication projects from blueprints
• Cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saw
• Join material using adhesive and clamps
• Measure components and finished product with measuring devices to ensure tolerances
• Complete roll tooling changeovers and maintain equipment safely
• Troubleshoot machinery and report defects and improvements
