Electrotek Concepts, Inc. - a Powerside Company in Alameda, CA, seeks a Manufacturing Technician to assemble and test precision equipment. You’ll handle PCB assemblies, calibration, and packaging, supporting inventory and shipping as needed.

This permanent, full-time role requires physical work (lifting up to 50 pounds) and a collaborative, detail-driven mindset. Prior manufacturing experience is a bonus; strong teamwork and initiative are valued.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S. with government ID.
• Mechanical aptitude and detail orientation.
• Fine motor dexterity for assembly, calibration, and packaging.
• Ability to follow verbal and documented instructions.
• Self-starter with curiosity; initiative is a plus.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a bonus but not required.
• Team oriented, energetic, and humorous attitude a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble printed circuit boards into enclosures.
• Perform quality control logging of test and calibration data.
• Label products and package for shipping.

Responsibilities And Duties

Among other duties, this position manufactures and assembles precision test and measurement equipment, calibrates and tests the products, assists with inventory. It is a physical job that requires lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting team members in lifting materials as well.

• Assembly of printed circuit boards into enclosures
• Quality control logging of test and calibration information
• Product labeling
• Packaging products for shipping and receiving packages and processing
• Manufacturing and assembling precision test and measurement equipment
• Assisting the purchasing and shipping departments with projects as needed
• Working on inventory control and participating in inventory counts

Qualifications And Skills

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with a valid government issued identification
• Should be mechanically-inclined and detail oriented
• Need to have fine motor dexterity to assist with assembly, calibration and packaging
• Must be able to follow verbal instruction as well as documented instruction
• Should be a self-starter with an inquisitive nature. Being able to take the initiative and to ask questions is a plus
• Prior experience in manufacturing is a bonus but not required
• Be team oriented, energetic, and a sense of humor is a plus!
