JOB DESCRIPTION: Feedstock Manufacturing Technician
Burlington, MA, USA

JOB SUMMARY
As part of the Materials Team, the Feedstock Manufacturing Technician will support the production of resin, solvent, and ceramic materials. Candidate will support several cross-functional teams including Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and support Lead Technicians to manufacture feedstocks
• Oversee production of solvent to meet production demands
• Ensure safety protocols are followed
• Maintain clean and safe workstations
• Update chemical inventories
• Perform regular testing for quality control
• Perform routine testing on 3D printed articles
• Support Chemical Hygiene initiatives
• Perform other duties assigned by the Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school, GED, and 2+ years’ work experience in a chemical production environment
• Experience reading and interpreting SDS documents
• Experience working with resins and powders
• Experience using various lab instrumentation and test equipment
• Written and spoken fluency in English required
• Ability to lift 35 pounds

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharma , bio, med device, defense, or aerospace manufacturing
• Chemical Hygiene training
• Database entry, Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work 8 hours in a lab and manufacturing environment
• Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods
• Regular movement across a ~6,000 sf production floor
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
