Job Description

Poly6 is enabling production of complex turbine engine designs by combining additive manufacturing with advanced materials. Our technology increases manufacturing efficiency and advances engineering design, contributing to reduced greenhouse gas emissions in aviation. You will work with a talented team to solve problems in aerospace engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Finish highly intricate ceramic parts by removing/repairing indications (visual and feature).
  • Perform ceramic core finishing and inspection per customer and regulatory standards.
  • Follow work instructions and SOPs with a focus on quality.
  • Meet production and quality goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment following 6S standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years' experience in visual inspection in manufacturing.
  • Experience working under microscopes or magnification on detailed parts.
  • High dexterity for detailed surface work.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers on experiments.
  • Attention to visual and written details.
  • Flexible schedule for potential staggered shifts.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in pharma, bio, med device, defense, or aerospace manufacturing.
  • Experience with quality inspection.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work 8 hours under magnification.
  • Handle, adjust, and transport fragile parts.
  • Move across a ~6,000 sq ft production floor.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
  • Good sight and hearing.
