The Role:

Our Bedford, MA site is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the Ceramic and Coating area, working with vacuum processing and coating operations for Echucks and PECVD jobs. The role involves supporting multiple coating tools and cross-training across other cells to meet business needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle chemicals including pouring, measuring, or transferring small quantities.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Load and operate coating tools according to production priorities.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on coating equipment.
• Inspect and set up parts for coating, ensuring quality.
• Fixture, run, and de-fixture parts from coating tools.
• Use SAP for work confirmations and enter data into CamLine.
• Read part schematics from customers and engineers.
• Provide feedback on process improvements to engineers.

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience, machine operation preferred.
• Willing to train on 2nd shift and work weekend overtime.
• Ability to work with chemicals (IPA, Acetone, HCL, FeCl).
• Availability to work Sunday through Thursday.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for most of the shift.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
• Flexibility for cross-training in other areas.
• Computer skills (SAP, CamLine).
