The Role:

Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a manufacturing Technician to join our team. This will be on 3rd Shift and involve working with team members in our Ceramic and Coating area, where vacuum processing and coating operations are performed for Echucks and PECVD jobs. The coating operator will support running several coating tools and should be willing to cross-train across other cells to support business needs.

What You'll Do:

• Chemical handling, including pouring, measuring, or transferring small quantities during process steps.
• Follow safety best practices and PPE protocols on the production floor.
• Follow production priorities and load the coating tools accordingly.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspection on coating tools.
• Inspect and set up parts for coating while maintaining quality standards.
• Fixture, run, and de-fixture parts from coating tools.
• Perform confirmations using SAP for work completed.
• Enter data into CamLine systems.
• Read and interpret part schematics from customers and engineers.
• Provide feedback to engineers on process improvements when applicable.

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience (machine operation a plus)
• Willingness to train on 2nd Shift and work weekend overtime when needed.
• Ability to work around chemicals such as IPA, Acetone, HCL, and FeCl.
• Availability to work Sunday through Thursday.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for most of the shift.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
• Flexibility to be trained and cross-trained in other areas.
• Proficiency with computer systems (SAP, CamLine, etc.).
