Siemens Healthineers in Palo Alto, CA, is hiring for a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to support installations and ramp-ups of manufacturing equipment. You will gather and analyze production data, perform repairs and retests, and oversee use of machine control systems in a FDA-regulated environment.

The role requires a high school degree with 3–5 years related experience, familiarity with MS Office, and preferred SAP/MES/ERP experience. This is a 2nd shift position based in Palo Alto.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or equivalent; 3-5 years related experience.
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Familiar with business tools such as Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Completes manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups.
  • Gathers, records and analyzes production information.
  • Performs repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities.
  • Oversees use of machine control systems and their use in manufacturing equipment.
  • Completes estimates of requirements arising from process changes.
  • Resolves manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
  • May develop and verify manuscripts for use with machine control systems to support manufacturing requirements.
  • Able to work 2nd shift out of Palo Alto, CA.
