Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a 2nd shift manufacturing technician in Palo Alto, CA. You will support equipment installations, ramp-ups, and data collection to optimize production processes.

Candidate should have a high school diploma and 3–5 years of related experience, with familiarity in MS Office and ERP systems like Workday. Experience with MES (SAP) is preferred.

Job Description

• Completes manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups.
• Gathers, records and analyzes production information.
• Performs repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities.
• Oversees use of machine control systems and their use in manufacturing equipment.
• Completes estimates of requirements arising from process changes.
• Resolves manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
• May develop and verify manuscripts for use with machine control systems to support manufacturing requirements.
• Able to work 2nd shift

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

• Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Understanding of Manufacturing processes
• Working in FDA regulated environment

Typical Education and Experience

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years of related experience.
