Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a Chemical Plating Manufacturing Technician in Royersford, PA. You will operate and monitor plating systems and large production lines, perform setup and maintenance, and ensure plating quality across batches.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience or technical training. It offers first-shift options, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities to grow skills in process control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of chemical plating, machining, grinding, manufacturing, or industrial production experience, or technical school training.
• Experience with industrial chemical processes, plating lines, tanks, or related equipment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and production documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math skills including measurements, fractions, decimals, and process calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Experience in metal finishing, electroplating, plating operations, machining, or industrial manufacturing is desirable.
• Understanding of process controls and instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical plating systems and large plating production lines.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot plating equipment, tanks, tooling, and related systems.
• Perform nickel stripping, surface preparation, plating, and de-prepping operations.
• Inspect products for quality, contamination, defects, and plating consistency.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, routing sheets, and process instructions.
• Maintain strict grit and contamination control throughout the production process.
• Complete production documentation and process records accurately.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and production equipment.
• Support daily 5S and housekeeping initiatives to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Available Schedules:

• 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

After training, employees may select their preferred shift.
