Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a Contract to Hire job with a client in Fairport NY 14450 (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Automobile industry is a must.

Rate Range: $22/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Responsibilities:

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• This is 1st Shift role (07:00 AM to 03:30 PM EST), Also this role requires lots of OT.
• 3+ years of Technician experience conducting product testing (environmental, vibration, IP-6x).
• Experience designing and qualifying test fixtures during development phase.
• Experience with test instrumentation (i.e., temperature, flow, pressure, low voltage analog, function generators, oscilloscopes).
• Work well within teams and individually.
• PCB, soldering build requirements, testing, understanding transistors.
• Experience in industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus), Ethernet systems, protocol analyzers, and industry SCADA practices a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum framework a plus.
• Technician or Associates degree in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or similar degree desired.
