Job summary

VIAVI Solutions Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for Security Products to support thin-film coating operations on various machines.

You will prepare tooling, clean and operate equipment, inspect materials, and assist in training other technicians within a team of manufacturing, engineering and maintenance professionals. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, English fluency, ability to pass a physical assessment, and US Person status under ITAR;

Duties & Responsibilities

Manufacturing Technician Security Products: This position is responsible for supporting thin-film coating operations on various machines in areas of tooling preparation, equipment clean-up and operation, materials inspections, product processing, and operation of auxiliary equipment in a safe and quality manner. May also assist and use work instructions in the training of other technicians in a team environment comprised of manufacturing, engineering and maintenance.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: Qualifications

• High School Diploma OR GED
• Required Shift Flexible
• Able to read/write/speak and comprehend English with fluency
• Must be able to pass Physical Assessment
• Previous Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR
