We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician. This position is located in Pomona, CA

You’ll make an impact by:

• Support Engineering with training programs such as: 6s, VSM, 7 wastes, visual Management, Standard Works, etc.
• 6S and standard methodologies. Provide support to help them implement and sustain improvements.
• Supporting on Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events to identify and eliminate waste.
• Supporting Fabrication, Production lines in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory improvements.
• Performing detailed time studies to analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain systems associated with production processes, layouts, flow, Visual Management and communications.
• Work with colleagues to develop and implement great, new ideas that consist of but not limited to the development of standard work/training guidelines for new teammates.
• Collaborate and work with cross functional teams such as Engineering and Finance to achieve plant goals (quality, manufacturing, materials, design, engineering, and finance).
• Performing other work as advised by Supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in lean concepts, basic shop math, basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English Language.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• CAD experience and knowledge
• Ability to work in a big scale Organization

• The pay range for this position is $49,600.00 - $67,000.00. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
