Job summary

Space Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Level 2 to join our team in Hanover, MD. This 100% onsite position requires building, processing and testing subassemblies, while following established processes and engineering drawings.

Candidates should have a high school diploma with additional education or related experience, ability to read drawings and perform basic math, and willingness to work weekends and overtime. Medical insurance, 401(k) and sick leave are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions and drawings without deviation.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, such as prints, diagrams, specifications, manufacturer manuals, and engineering drawings.

Job Description

Pay Range: $25 – $30/hr. The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• No clearance required to start
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions and drawings without deviation.
• Perform basic math and measurement functions.
• Communicate nonconformances to management and quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Operating industrial equipment such as precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
