Business Unit: Sensors & Fluid Management

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Responsible for supporting the Design, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Materials Organization in developing and assembling new and existing products. The technician will handle a variety of assembly responsibilities for aerospace sensors.

How you will do it

  • Participate in developing, implementing, and applying processes (assembly and test) for mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instruments.
  • Collaborate directly with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to develop and document new products, processes, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
  • Build qualification and first-build products from sketches and detailed instructions, performing manufacturing operations based on instructions, drawings, and standards.
  • Support process improvements for manufacturing, fixtures, tooling, and equipment, utilizing tools like Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Support legacy products and ongoing production tasks, including fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Assist with product transitions, preparing documentation and processes for transfer to other manufacturing sites.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and manufacturing instructions.

Note: Due to contracts with the U.S. Government, candidates must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.

Compensation

Type: Hourly

Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000
