Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an assembly/test technician to join our North Falmouth, MA production team. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and tuning subassemblies and electromechanical products on a busy production floor.

Candidates must read assembly prints and schematics, follow safety policies, and obtain IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications. Strong communication and hands-on electronics/mechanics aptitude are essential.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, tune (when needed) of subassemblies and electromechanical products
• Ability to read assembly prints, procedures and schematics
• Comply with all company safety policies
• Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a “US Person” (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)

Education and Experience

• High School or trade school diploma
• 2 – 4 years technical experience, or military technical training
• Knowledgeable in the use of basic test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Power supplies etc.)
• Successfully pass company provided IPC-J-STD-001 certification
• Successfully pass company provided IPC/WHMA-A-620-cable and harness assembly-certification

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude
• Computer Experience required including a working knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook

Salary Range:

$44,500.00-$59,300.000
