Wieland is hiring a Manufacturing Technician. The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for running mobile equipment (such as forklifts, skid steers, etc.) in the Shred/Sort area. This role is located in Shelbyville, KY and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $20.00

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour Shifts | 2 Weekends off per month & 8 Days off after 4 rotations!

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Tech Responsibilities:

• Assistant to the Shred/Sort Operators
• Load infeed hoppers
• Print/apply rejected box labels and change out as needed
• Check/Empty conveyor cleanout tubs
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any concerns
• Take empty boxes/skids out
• Must work occasional overtime, depending on workload/projects - evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Performs other tasks as directed.

Manufacturing Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience operating a Forklift
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Complete all safety and task training and certifications
• Observes safety standards and exhibits a high concern for safety.
