Staffmark Group in Independence, PA is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to help assemble fiberglass products and support production goals on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The role emphasizes reading specifications, using hand and pneumatic tools, and maintaining safety and quality on the line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic reading of drawings, and a willingness to learn. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fiberglass hatch covers, gates, and related products according to engineering drawings and product specifications.
• Build and fabricate products using fiberglass, resins, and structural materials.
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform quality inspections and record testing and inspection results in accordance with company procedures.
• Interpret work instructions, quality requirements, and production specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and customer expectations.
• Perform other manufacturing and assembly duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work a full shift and full workweek.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing at least 35 pounds.
• Comfortable working in an enclosed underground industrial facility with climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to work on uneven surfaces and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
