Job Description:
Infintium Fuel Cell Systems, Inc. is developing next-generation fuel cell system solutions to power material handling vehicles in the Greenville, SC area. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Technician responsible for ensuring proper execution of our assembly and commissioning processes. As a small production team, the successful candidate must reliably set and meet goals with limited oversight. This role is ideal for a candidate seeking hands-on experience in a start-up manufacturing environment. The technician will also handle product documentation that clearly communicates operational procedures, system outputs, and troubleshooting/diagnostics methods.
Primary Job Functions:
- Commission all units during production (software, visual checks, functional checks, etc.)
- Troubleshoot fuel cell functions during commissioning
- Participate in cross-functional problem-solving processes
- Maintain floor layouts
- Implement continuous improvements on the production floor for process output enhancement
- Monitor assembly and subassembly processes for adherence to work instructions
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve assembly processes and final designs
- Assist production with unit builds as needed
Support Job Functions:
- Support warranty analysis and troubleshooting on serviceable units
- Provide technical support to customers in collaboration with the service department
- Assist the service team in testing, troubleshooting, and reworking units returned for analysis
Requirements / Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, automotive experience a plus
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
- Experience troubleshooting circuits
- Experience with CAN networks or similar communication protocols
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Mechanical assembly skills and process understanding
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with engineering, quality teams, management, and customers
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software (e-drawings) and SolidWorks (1+ years)
