Manufacturing Technician - Covington, GA

As part of our manufacturing group, you will support production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and participate in startup, changeover, and shutdown of equipment.

Shift hours:

• 12-hour shifts with 3-2-2 schedule
• 6:00 am to 6:07 pm (day shift)
• 6:00 pm to 6:07 am (night shift)
• Shift rotation every 8 weeks (day to night or night to days)

Work pattern details and overtime requirements are included.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting at $22.89/hr, increasing to $25.96 after 6 months, max pay $36.54/hr

Location & Products:

The Covington plant is known for internal promotion, skilled workforce, and community engagement. Our products include Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, and others.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Creating high-quality foods enjoyed nationwide
• Using industry-leading technology
• Working with experienced operators and passing down knowledge
• Troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, startup, changeover, and shutdown of equipment
• Operating forklifts and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
• Training new employees

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years manufacturing or mechanical experience, including HVAC or mechanical skills
• Forklift certification required

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting
• Work at heights and wear protective gear
• Work in various environmental conditions and around machinery
