Job description

Manufacturing Technicians needed for an 18-month contract-to-hire role located in Austin, Texas.

What you need to bring to the table:

• 2 to 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly and testing of finished products.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair assemblies.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Vacuum experience.
• Semi-conductor and SAP experience is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing

• Utilize routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, and instructions to build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs. Identify and correct errors.
• Use test fixtures, measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Enter data on computer systems, including progress, work expenses, and labor details. May perform programming, repairs, or software installs.
• Document finished work accurately.
• Receive parts, perform audits, and inspect parts for defects to ensure availability for building, testing, and repair.
• Troubleshoot and improve processes.

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4 PM - 3 AM (10% shift differential)
• Weekend Shift: 5 AM - 4 PM (Friday-Monday, 10% differential)
• Weekend Evening Shift: 5 PM - 4 AM (18% differential)

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
