Job description

Manufacturing Technicians needed for an 18-month contract-to-hire role in Austin, Texas.

Pay Rate: $21 to $25 per hour

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly and testing of finished products
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Troubleshoot and repair assemblies
• Excellent computer skills
• Vacuum experience
• Semi-conductor and SAP experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs, identify and correct errors
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps for testing
• Enter data on computer, including progress, work expenses, and labor details; may include programming, repairs, or software installs
• Inspect parts for defects and perform audits to ensure part availability
• Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes

Additional Information:

• Shift options: 1st shift (6AM-5PM), 2nd shift (5PM-4AM, includes Saturdays, with 10% differential)
• Must be open to working weekends
• Estimated pay range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
