Job Overview

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Andover, MA (01810)

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician for 2nd shift (2:30 pm–Midnight, Monday–Friday) with occasional overtime (up to 5 hrs per week). Work involves cGMP unit operations, media preparation, glasswash, CIP, SIP, and maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set‑up and execution of cGMP unit operations with a focus on media preparation and glasswash.
• Cleaning and sanitization of the facility and equipment including CIP, SIP, COP, autoclaving, depyrogenation, etc.
• Accurately follow oral, written, and electronic instructions and document daily operations in GMP batch records and logs.
• Operate manual and automated equipment and support implementation of new technology for process execution and/or analysis.
• Responsible for data entry and real‑time process monitoring.
• Assist in inventory tracking, maintenance scheduling, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Execute routine manufacturing activities including solution formulation and equipment preparation (set‑up, CIP, SIP).

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 2 years of related experience; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience working in a federally regulated environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity and experience with support operations such as solution preparation and/or operation of autoclave/depyrogenation ovens.
• Previous experience with manufacturing‑scale bioreactors or harvest (centrifugation, depth filtrations, microfiltration) preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a clean/controlled room environment.
• Production support experience (media/glasswash).
• Ability to assess, plan, execute, and review work with zero defects.

Schedule

2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–Midnight (40 hours per week plus up to 5 hours of overtime).
