Job summary

A specialized manufacturing company in Bedford, MA is seeking a dedicated individual to operate various process equipment and conduct quality control testing. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and some manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or biotech environment. This position offers Monday to Friday shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with responsibilities including maintaining batch records and participating in safety standards.

• Operate various process equipment as per SOP's.
• Utilize PLC and Delta V in unit operations.
• Maintain records in compliance with ISO 9001 and 13485.

Job Description

Duties:

• Operate various process equipment including reactors, pressure filters, pumps, filling, labeling and packaging equipment according to written SOP's and UOP's.
• Utilize local control systems (PLC and Delta V) in accordance with SOP and UOP's to carry out unit operations.
• Perform duties within the corporate EH&S Standards.
• Maintain batch and equipment records per department's ISO 9001 and 13485 standards.
• Perform required in process testing to include conductivity, pH, moisture and size analysis.
• Place proper emphasis on safety and quality.
• Active participation in process improvement and 5S projects.

Skills:

• Some manufacturing experience, Chemical or Biotech preferred
• Experience in cGMP environment desirable.
• Quality minded and detail oriented.
• Computer literate.
• Effective communicator (verbal and written).
• Highly organized and excellent at multi-tasking.
• Proactive, hard working and self-motivated.
• Ability to interpret data and troubleshooting skills.

Shift : Monday - Friday, second shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm
