Job summary

ComTec Information Systems (IT) is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Writer II to produce compliant quality system documents and procedures at our Walpole, MA site. You will write and edit manufacturing work instructions, forms, and risk files, and create flow charts and diagrams to support manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical writing experience.
• Proven ability to produce compliant documentation and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple documents and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and process compliant Quality System documents and procedures including manufacturing work instructions, forms, guidance procedures, and risk files.
• Create and edit flow charts, diagrams, and other visual aids.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams to learn products/processes for documentation.
• Support documentation needs for manufacturing projects such as process scale-ups.
• Gather feedback and apply improvements; communicate status and deadlines.
• Provide training support for the document change process.
