Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Writer II in Walpole, MA to develop, write, edit, and process high-quality Quality System documents and work instructions for manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams to translate complex information into clear docs and ensure compliance, with attention to timelines and project milestones. The role requires independent planning, strong communication, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical writing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple documentation projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and process compliant Quality System documents and procedures, including manufacturing work instructions, forms, guidance procedures, and risk files.
• Create and edit flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual aids to support technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams to understand products, processes, and documentation requirements.
• Support documentation activities for manufacturing-related projects, including process scale-ups.
• Research technical and engineering information using drawings, design specifications, test specifications, product prototypes, and input from subject matter experts.
• Manage all phases of the document development lifecycle, including project scope, requirements, documentation design, development, and revision.
• Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve documents and procedures.
• Track documentation progress, communicate status updates, and ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Provide training support related to the document change process.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, business methods, and technical components.
