Job summary

Ampcus Inc. in Walpole, MA is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor to develop, write, and edit high-quality Quality System documentation for Manufacturing operations.

You will translate complex technical information into clear docs and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams to ensure compliance and timely delivery. The role requires 3-5 years of technical writing experience, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to independently plan, track, and report on multiple documentation projects.
• Ability to translate complex technical information and data into clear, concise documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and process compliant Quality System documents and procedures, including manufacturing work instructions, manufacturing forms, guidance procedures, and risk files.
• Create and edit flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual aids to support technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams to understand products, processes, and documentation requirements.
• Support documentation activities for manufacturing-related projects, including process scale‑ups.
• Research technical and engineering information using drawings, design specifications, test specifications, product prototypes, and input from subject matter experts.
• Manage all phases of the document development lifecycle, including project scope, requirements, documentation design, development, and revision.
• Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve documents and procedures.
• Track documentation progress, communicate status updates, and ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Provide training support related to the document change process.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, business methods, and technical components.
