Job summary

You will produce print, PDF, multimedia, and web materials, maintain existing docs, and ensure compliance with formatting standards.

Qualifications

• 35+ years of professional technical writing experience.
• Experience creating technical documentation and work instructions in a manufacturing environment.
• Background writing for complex products such as semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, medical devices, automotive systems, or similar highly engineered products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit technical documentation for complex products in print and digital formats.
• Create clear and detailed work instructions and technical documentation that support manufacturing and product lifecycle needs.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to understand product designs, features, and processes.
• Attend meetings with subject matter experts to proactively gather technical information and requirements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into concise, accurate, and easy-to-follow instructions for diverse audiences.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with established standards, formatting guidelines, and quality expectations.
• Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product, process, or design changes.
• Use relevant tools and systems, such as SolidWorks and related applications, to interpret technical data and support documentation creation.
