Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a skilled supervisor to coach PE board technical staff, drive continuous improvement, and manage SOPs, line monitoring, and daily production reporting.

The role balances safety, cost, quality and productivity while coordinating with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, 1–2 years in plastics extrusion, and lean manufacturing knowledge, with readiness to work 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Provides employee coaching and development to all PE board technical staff.
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results.
• Leads continuous improvement projects within PE boards manufacturing operations.
• Responsible for updating SOPs and line condition monitoring.
• Assists with achieving daily production requirements and accurately reporting results.
• Participates in and supports facility safety systems.
• Understands and utilizes the Quality Assurance system.
• Provides leadership and manages department priorities for process controls and product efficiencies.
• Assists production manager in improving production control, SOP, safety, quality control and performance management.
• Liaises with maintenance and engineering to correct equipment issues.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.

3-5 years manufacturing experience

1-2 years plastics extrusion/manufacturing

Lean manufacturing (Kaizen, 5S)

Quality management systems experience
