Job summary

AllianceIT Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform functions across manufacturing operations, including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing of parts and assemblies. You will work with engineers to analyze data and adjust processes in real time to meet specifications.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to operate office software. Candidates must be US citizens and able to lift up to 40 pounds and work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, write and follow English instructions.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties relating to fabrication or assembly of mechanical components for larger assemblies.
• Sets up and tests prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions; analyzes data and recommends modifications.
• Assists mechanical engineers in development of mechanical/electromechanical designs; tests and fabricates assemblies.
• Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data for on-line adjustments to products or equipment.
