Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation in Minneapolis is seeking an entry-level assembler/inspector to learn and perform basic production operations following MPI/QWI procedures. The role emphasizes reading blueprints, operating manual and automatic equipment, and maintaining GDP-compliant records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: 0–2 years related work experience.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction; must learn to recognize obvious defects in workmanship.
  • Special Skills: Ability to read blueprints preferred; familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred; previous light assembly experience in a regulated medical device industry preferred.
  • Other: Able and willing to learn assembly operations; work is closely supervised.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to Integer’s Values, Behavioral Based Safety process and Integer Associate Quality Policy.
  • Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per MPI’s and QWI’s.
  • Understands own tasks and how they relate to others on their team, working under close supervision with duties clearly defined.
  • Assembles component parts as per print, utilizing both manual and automatic machine operation.
  • Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications, identifying and escalating quality non-conformances.
  • Completes required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per GDP.
  • May package assemblies for shipment.
  • Participates in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross-training and classroom instruction.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Actively participates in “flex break” programs as required.
  • Performs other functions as required.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to develop competency in and perform basic assembly and/or inspection operations at Integer. The incumbent is expected to follow written procedures to meet production and quality requirements.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Adheres to Integer’s Values, Behavioral Based Safety process and Integer Associate Quality Policy.
  • Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI’s) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI’s).
  • Understands own tasks and how they relate to others on their team, working under close supervision with duties clearly defined. Follows Standard Work where applicable.
  • Assembles component parts as per print, utilizing both manual and automatic machine operation.
  • Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications, identifying and escalating quality non‑conformances.
  • Completes required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • May package assemblies for shipment.
  • Participates in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $17.00 – $24.43 per hour.

We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year.

Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We also provide 80 hours (10 days) of company‑designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.

Remote Eligibility

Remote work is eligible for U.S. applicants, but all work must be performed entirely outside of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, and Washington.
